ABOUT US

Goals & Objectives

We accomplish our mission by supporting the child’s school success through our year round academic literacy programs and complementary learning activities which integrate both school and non-school support to ensure children have the skills needed to succeed.

Program Basics

Our program serves all youth and families, but places special emphasis on children and families who are experiencing low neighborhood attachment or English as Second Language learners (ESL).Bi-lingual staff are employed to impact the needs and interests of the ESL.

Financials

We have kept fund development and administrative costs at a minimum to focus on children’s programming since our inception. This year MRC was incorporated as a 501©(3) entity. MRC was a subgrantor, with another agency acting as the fiscal agent.

Our Staff

All employees are subject to a background screening under The National Child Protection Act (1993), as amended, and section 943.0542, Florida Statutes (1999). Information is provided through the VECHS program, FDLE and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

His homework is done and checked everyday. That helps me out alot considering the time he leaves to go home, and I get off work.
